Queensland goes blue for Autism!
For the world April 2nd marked World Autism Awareness Day for Queensland however, the entire month of April has been painted blue in support of Go Blue for Autism.
Go Blue for Autism is a Queensland campaign that looks to support Queenslander’s living with Autism, or Autism Spectrum Disorders, and their families.
What’s happening around town during April?
Queensland has been lighting up famous landmarks in blue for the month to show support, including: The Story Bridge, Victoria Bridge, and Brisbane City Hall. There is also various other events throughout the month like: The Mad Hatters Afternoon Gala, Rockhampton, April 29; and Special Sensory Screenings of Jumanji at Event Cinemas around Queensland, April 22.
