Emily-May Chapman hasn’t always been a support worker, but after having children, she started looking for a career with more flexibility. 

Being a support worker with Alliance Community has been the most rewarding experience for Khadige. Her team has supported her daily and provided her with work flexibility, while the role has given her confidence and a chance to meet clients with different personalities and backgrounds.

Lily has been a support worker ever since she finished high school and loves her role every day. With fortnightly visits to clients like Margaret, who lives independently at the age of 93, Lily is able to give Margaret confidence in knowing she is getting support and companionship.

Natasha thrives as a support worker, finding joy in helping clients and enjoying flexible hours with Alliance Community.

Before meeting support coordinator Lissa, Nathan struggled to pursue his passion for food. Lissa provided crucial support, encouragement, and resources. Now enrolled in a Certificate II in Cookery at TAFE, Nathan is gaining new skills and advancing his culinary interests, thanks to her help.

Poppy's move from a corporate career to a support worker role has been one of her most rewarding professional decisions, emphasizing personal connection and service.
